Fr. Dr. Soosai is a social activist and politician, serving as the Tamil Nadu State President of the Republican Party of India (Athawale) and an active member of the Mumbai Tamil Sangam. He has held roles such as Consultative Member (Tamil Nadu) of the Food Corporation of India under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs.

• Author of Adhikaram Yarudaiyathu (2007), a Tamil book on social thought.
• Recipient of an Honorary Doctorate from America’s Inter University for contributions to education.
• Honored with the title Mumbai-Kalvi Thanthai by Thirupur Tamil Sangam.
• Former Lok Sabha candidate (Idukki constituency, Kerala, 2009). He also chairs several schools in Mumbai and Sankarankovil, and his vision is clear: “The only way to empower a community is to revolutionize education.”
